Yes sir, I DID put it in the Original category--and you can't stop me! This is NOT fan-art! This is NOT for a fan-fiction! This story is my own idea with my own characters based on the work of Sir Arthur Conan Doyle. The new BBC show isn't fan-fiction, right?!

Anyway! XDDD Here's my design for Dr. John H Watson. ((He also has a hat that matches his jacket, but he only wears it every once in a while))

John Watson is a young ex-army doctor who was invalided home from WW1 thanks to getting shot in the shoulder. John is reliable, strong, patient, good-humored, and can put up with Sherlock Holmes' bullshit, which is incredible. He has a strong psychosomatic limp in his left leg caused by the bullet--he knows it's psychosomatic, but there's not a lot he can do about it. It's terrible when he walks, but in cases of adrenaline it functions just fine and he can run and jump great. He's rather proper and polite, though he can also shed that quickly should he desire to, though he often doesn't. Originally he lived in a poor boarding house in the city, living off his army pension, when he (rather unfortunately) stumbles upon a shot-and-bleeding Sherlock Holmes. Who quickly rounds him up into working in the same speakeasy, 221B. John's a bit too honest for this, and feels a bit torn, but he really was poor, and the owner, police chief cum speakeasy boss Lestrade has the best intentions. His cane separates at the top from which he can pull out a small-caliber gun.

I really like John's hair. IID I think I got him quite right, there.
