Okay, so I plan on entering this contest which ends on the 6th, which is kind of ridiculous because it's already the se--third. ((I seriously have to stop staying up so late)) Oh well LOL It usually only takes me a maximum of like, two hours to do a picture, so no complaining, right? XDDDD

So I have to get that scanned pretty much the 5th to be safe, so I will try to scan EVERYTHING that day; it means facing an impending charge from my vicious little sister and her sharp teeth (and even sharper tongue), but whatever. Girl's gotta do, right? ((even if it means an HOUR or so of sitting in her room.... Orz||||))

Anyway, my resolution this time is to "try and curse less". LOL Wish me luck. XDDDDD;; It should be easier to curse less IRL, but harder to curse less online or in my book LOL My boys have the word choice of sailors XDDD

Well... 2009's been pretty fun. I've totally neglected my book (uuuugh bad Atakiri DX ) but I'll try to work on that more... I won't make it a resolution because that never works. XDDD If you know me IRL and have read at least part of my book and would like to read more, please, please, please bug me about it so I get back to work.

Anyway, I was invited to two New Year's parties this year, both of which I turned down. Sorry guys--I always spend my holidays with my family. So this year my mom made spaghetti (but used penne instead of normal spaghetti noodles because I don't like them much for some reason :/ ) with meat balls and we watched Julie & Julia (which wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it'd be [it actually had some pretty hilarious parts] but isn't something I would have ever chosen myself or would have regretted not seeing) and we were supposed to watch Paranormal Activity once my two younger brothers went to sleep, but my step-dad went out before the older younger brother (who lasted well past midnight until mom had to MAKE him go to sleep) and instead me, my mom, my little brother, and my little sister instead played Rayman Raving Rabbids 1 and 2 (mostly 2) from about 9:30 to 11:56, then from 12:03 to 1:07 LOL. We had some noise makers, hats, Apple-and-Grape Martinelli's (c) sparkling cider (which isn't nearly as good as just the plain apple kind but apparently some lady bought 12 bottles of it RIGHT IN FRONT OF MY MOM AND SISTER AT THE STORE [ >:I] but oh well), and watched the ball drop in New York from our TV screen. Overall a good night.

I have some extra-credit to do for my school before it starts up again soon ( DDDX ) along with making some videos that I forgot about/procrastinated on for my Robotics team (seriously, I really did forget), half-off appetizer hang-out with my friends on Saturday and anime club meeting tomorrow to do before Monday when school gets back in. :I Dang. ((LOL I cursed there but erased it so SHHHHHH XDDD))

Anyway, I'll go now, and probably to sleep, too. I don't really have a desire to play my DS right now, mostly because a character I liked died in front of my eyes right before this battle and I know it was something I could have avoided. :/ Dang it all to heck and back.

Believe it or not, I HAVEN'T been killed in some gruesome murder a la demon (god damn you Beldr, damn you back to Hell) or by a knife in the back (which was easily Umineko inspired, I'm sure). On the 25th I didn't turn on my computer, but instead played my new game that I'd been waiting MONTHS for and finally got. *wheezes * Did it again on the 26th. And it was... nice. I can't really explain it, but it was really nice being off of the internet and just... playing video games, I guess. XDDDD So I did it everyday up until technically 1 a.m. this morning, because I had to see if any of my cosplay members had last-minute messages they needed to get to me. So... alright.

Overall it was really nice, and I got a lot of stuff. I remember last year's being actually pretty disappointing, so I'm glad this one went really well. The one overriding comment I can say for it is that if I give someone a list, if there's an item on there they can't find they shouldn't improvise, but just move on. PHOTO SHOOT

Coeur d' Cosplay had a photoshoot today and it was awesome!!! We did winter!Hetalia and winter!Reborn; everyone showed up except :iconuchia-avenger-sasu: ( ) which was pretty cool. Darn you, Sasu's work, darn you. Anyway, I'm going through pictures now about what I want to put up and what I don't; god there are a lot. XDDDD I chose my favorite from each pose and am now going to siphon off only those I want up. Dammit it's a lot of work. ;_____;

Anyway, my winter!Bel was actually really kick-ass, and while it wasn't a huge leap, it was.... really, really awesome. XDDD You'll see.

Of the two shoots, the Reborn! one was really, really short, but I think it was my favorite. It was actively snowing which made some really sweet shots, and although is a cruel photo-mistress (even ignoring me when I asked her to take some of my sillier shots ) the ones she orchestrated came out amazingly bad-ass. And the light was overcast and gave the whole shoot this dark, blue-tinted appearance that was... awesome. And since it was winter!Bel, Giotto, and winter!Hibari, that was a great tone.
